Hooray!

The College Photographer of the Year, or CPOY, results were finally posted on the web last night. Although the results have been known for a couple weeks.

I took home a Silver and Honorable Mention in "Feature" and an Honorable Mention in "Personal Vision"

Congrats to my great friends Christian Hansen, Andrew Henderson, and Matt Eich (Mr. CPOY) for cleaning house in the portfolio round.

Here is the very first photostory I did almost 2 years ago. It was for my basic photo class.

His name is Jimmy Baker. He lives and works at Earls Hub Caps in Bowling Green, Ky. He is a Vietnam vet and the emotional scars are still there.

A little about me to start things off. I am currently the fall photo intern at the Napa Valley Register in Napa, Ca.

I attend school at Western Kentucky Univeristy in Bowling Green, Ky., where i will return to in January.

I hope to update this blog at least two to three times a week with new photographs. If im stalling then ill post some old photos from the last two years.

So this is my first blog post...

I plan to make this blog mostly about photography and my photos.
